Beyond its issuing country, a valid Schengen visa (multiple-entry) opens 24 additional destinations that waive or simplify their own visa for its holders:
🇲🇽 Mexico Visa-free · 180 days
Mexico admits any traveler holding a valid visa or permanent residence of the US, Canada, the UK, Japan or a Schengen country — visa-free for up to 180 days.
🇨🇷 Costa Rica Visa-free · 30 days
Costa Rica: entry for up to 30 days (but no longer than the visa's validity) with a valid visa or residence of the US, Canada or Schengen.
🇵🇦 Panama Visa-free · 30 days
Panama: up to 30 days with a valid visa (used at least once) or residence permit of the US, Canada, the UK, Australia or the EU.
🇩🇴 Dominican Republic Visa-free · 30 days
Dominican Republic: visa-free entry for holders of valid visas or residence permits of the US, Canada, the UK or the EU.
🇬🇹 Guatemala Visa-free · 90 days
Guatemala: up to 90 days per half-year with a valid visa or residence of the US, Canada, the EU or Mexico. Granted at the border, no pre-approval needed.
🇯🇲 Jamaica Visa-free · 30 days
Jamaica: applies to citizens of Albania, Belarus, Bosnia, Kazakhstan, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia (also Honduras, Moldova) — up to 30 days with a valid Western visa.
🇵🇪 Peru Visa-free · 180 days
Peru: Chinese and Indian citizens with a valid (6+ months) visa or permanent residence of the US, UK, Canada, Australia or Schengen — visa-free up to 180 days.
🇨🇴 Colombia Visa-free · 90 days
Colombia: citizens of China, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Macau and Taiwan (also Myanmar, Nicaragua) enter visa-free for up to 90 days with a US or Schengen visa/permit valid 180+ days.
🇬🇪 Georgia Visa-free · 90 days
Georgia: holders of valid visas or residence permits of the US, EU/Schengen, UK, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Australia, NZ or Gulf states — visa-free for 90 days.
🇦🇱 Albania Visa-free · 90 days
Albania: visa-free up to 90 days with a used multiple-entry visa or residence permit of the US, UK or Schengen.
🇷🇸 Serbia Visa-free · 90 days
Serbia: holders of valid visas or residence permits of the US, UK or Schengen — visa-free up to 90 days.
🇲🇪 Montenegro Visa-free · 30 days
Montenegro: up to 30 days with a valid US, UK, Irish or Schengen visa.
🇲🇰 North Macedonia Visa-free · 15 days
North Macedonia: up to 15 days with a used multiple-entry Schengen or US visa.
🇧🇦 Bosnia & Herzegovina Visa-free · 30 days
Bosnia & Herzegovina: any visa-required nationality may enter with a valid multiple-entry visa or residence permit of Schengen, the EU or the US — up to 30 days continuously.
🇨🇾 Cyprus Visa-free · 90 days
Cyprus (not yet in Schengen; accession expected in 2026): unilaterally recognizes double/multiple-entry Schengen visas and Schengen residence permits as equivalent to a national visa.
🇴🇲 Oman Visa-free · 14 days
Oman: 14 days entirely visa-free for holders of valid visas/residence permits of the US, UK, Canada, Schengen, Australia or Japan and for GCC residents (longer stays via e-visa).
🇵🇠Philippines Visa-free · 7 days
Philippines: Chinese citizens with a US/Japan/Australia/Canada/Schengen/Singapore visa — visa-free up to 7 days.

Philippines (since 2025-06-08): Indian citizens with an AJACSSUK visa or residence permit get 30 days instead of the base 14.

Singapore: Indian citizens with a US/UK/Canada etc. visa transiting through — 96 hours visa-free.
🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia Visa on arrival · 90 days
Saudi Arabia: holders of used US/UK/Schengen visas or residence permits of those countries get a visa on arrival.
🇪🇬 Egypt Visa on arrival · 30 days
Egypt: Indian citizens with a used US/UK/Schengen/Japan visa or a Western residence permit get a 30-day visa on arrival (not guaranteed).
🇹🇼 Taiwan eTA required · 14 days
Taiwan: citizens of India, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and others holding a developed-country visa get a free online certificate instead of a visa — 14 days.
🇹🇷 Turkey e-Visa required · 30 days
Turkey: conditional e-visa for citizens of Egypt, India, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and others — only with a valid Schengen/US/UK/Irish visa or residence permit.
🇧🇠Bahrain e-Visa required · 14 days
Bahrain: e-visa (and for several nationalities a visa on arrival) with a US/UK/Schengen visa, a Green Card or GCC residence.
